about

Folklore says this tune was written in the 1850s by a dancer that owned a music store in Detroit. He named it the Detroit Schottische. You can raise a beer to some lost soul that sometime, between then and now, pictured and renamed that tune after a flop-eared mule! Chris plays this crowd-pleasing, dance-driving tune at the speed of light! In this arrangement, he adds his delightful, crisp mandolin to carry the tune... and the day!
